Cindys Pacific Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
Roasted Brussels sprouts with bacon is a simple, irresistible dish that turns these little green gems into something beautifully caramelized, smoky, and deeply savory. The technique of roasting vegetables traces back to European cooking traditions, where high heat was used to bring out natural sweetness and crisp edges, while Brussels sprouts themselves have long been cultivated in Belgium since the Middle Ages. Over time, American cooks embraced the vegetable and elevated it with bacon, creating a modern comfort‑food favorite that’s both rustic and boldly flavorful.
